One day at a time

Making something great that started out not so great. Or really not so great in your mind. Well, every day that has been presented to me I feel like it's a gift.
No matter where you are there are great things. Like for me right now it's family. I love being around my family and I so blessed to be a part of their life and them a part of mine.
Okay, so everyone! Attention!
Here is your goal for the week:
Find something you are grateful for each day. YES! There is something you can think of each day. And if it's the same thing two days in a row, well then that's okay.

Let me know what your goals are or something you are setting goals for or whatever! I would love to be able to rejoice with you!

Little specs all over the world, you can make a difference! One day at a time. That's all it takes!

Your favrourite music artist is....

Tomorrow I will be venturing outside of my small little town. Oh the places I will go.
Don't get too excited this is just 20 minutes away, but this is still big news. I will see places such as bridges and maybe even a chick fil a. I think a free standing Starbucks. Okay, I am not going to go crazy and go to these places, but it would be nice.

Is anyone an avid music listener?

I recently got new music and I feel as if I can act as a norma human being again. I love listening to new music and all that jazz!

Okay, please tell me some of your favourite music! I want to hear all about it!

I just don't even care

Today I didn't get out of the house. It was quite refreshing in a weird way. I think it was all the recycled air I was breathing. I do believe that a day spent in is needed after a crazy 2 days. Graduation and then a Pro Soccer Championship game. It was exciting and very crazy all at the same time.
Music is the most beautiful thing ever

From one human to another

There are so many wonderful and crazy parts of living in a small town. I know that most people think it could be horrible, and it is for the most part. I am going to start enjoying this more and find fun places to go and have as your own.
My goal is to find the positive sides of this small town. I will get back to you on this whole new lifestyle. Until then someone give me some ideas and let me in on the secret to life!

Let's not just be a spec on the map! Let's make a change in the world.

graduation

hello little specs,

I graduated from college today and that meant going to my favourite restaurant! Chipotle!
If you have one in your town. Be blessed and go eat there right now.

Local Wal-Mart saves the day with having a one stop shop experience for all who come.

well I am going to continue my making of a shirt

First Day

Hello specs all over the world!

Today I started a new job. Just a part-time job while I begin hunting for jobs in the music business. I got some Starbucks at the Target, ya know cause this town isn't hip enough to build one by itself. Oh gosh, I definitely could use a free standing Starbucks so I can sit and blog or read.
It takes me about 5 minutes to get to work.
I always get this feeling when I go somewhere that I know someone, but I can never actually figure out who it is. The struggles. I am good with faces but never names.

So what makes your town so special?
Mine is close to the beach.

A piece of paradise

All about you!

No matter where you come from, your dreams are possible.

write to me and tell me your story. Or just tell me about your dreams. Or tell me what's on your mind.

Be bold. Be brave. Be YOU!

-don't be just a spec on the map!

I want to hear your story

From the capital of losers I write to you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I haven’t lived in this small town for forever. Although sometimes it feels that way, I have actually moved around quite a bit. I love the adventures that come with new places and new faces. I don’t always like to think that my life is glamorous in any way, but it kind of is. I have dreams that are beyond this world. Sometimes…okay most of the time I feel as if the dreams I have are too big, but I know that’s a recipe to getting nowhere in this world.
If you read my posts tell me what are your dreams? I want to hear all about it.
Leave a comment or if you don’t want others to see it you can email me at emsiphonevlog@gmail.com
Let me hear your story.

Peace,

Cons of a small town

Things that big cities have that I wish my town had....

Free standing Starbucks
I don't like having to go into Target to get a Starbucks drink. It's like a trap because you just want a drink and then you are in Target so you might as well go about the clothes and accessories and see if you like anything. It's a money pit.

Chipotle
This is one of my favourite restaurants. The closest one is about 30 minutes away. I mean it keeps me from spending all my money on wonderful food, but come on.

No Smoothie place
I love smoothies. End of Story.

WaWa
If you haven't had it, then you need to drive until you find one.

Chick Fil A
I worked there for 2 and a half years and then I moved. And now the closest one is probably 30 minutes or so.

These are just a few things that are not in the city where I lived.
If you have these things in your town. Be grateful.

I do however have a Wal-Mart. I am a real special girl for that. Oh and a Taco Bell. I know I am in for a great party.

Peace Out,

Your story is important

Everyone has their version of life. Whether they live in the small town or big city, the point of life is to be able to share your stories with those around you. So here I am attempting at telling you all the highs and lows of a small town. From my point of view it may sound a little more cynical. I am definitely dreaming of getting to the big city. So this is my view of life. It may be personal stories or stories from around the world. So here it all is.
But what I really want is for people to have their own voice as well. Be confident in your life and where you come from. Speak up and tell me your story. I want to hear you and who you are. I want to be able to share those experiences as I learn about you.

Here is who I am. I recent college graduate. I graduated with a degree in Music Business. I love music. It's all who i am. I love new music and old music. I love a good movie. I absolutely love to go to concerts. I love Taco Bell.
I would say I am an average american girl in her early twenties, but that is definitely not true. I am by no means normal. I mean I am not a strange person, but I like to think that I am bit different than other people. My dreams are big and I am excited to get there.

Okay, so I want to hear your story. Tell me about you.
Throughout my next couple of posts I am going to continue to reveal my sightings and stories of a small town....umm...resident. And if you come from a small town you probably will be able to relate and if not then hopefully we can find a common ground. Big city readers....I envy your location.

goodbye,
